After three and a half years, there have been some exciting changes in our company. Our youngest shareholder has successfully completed her Bachelor of Arts at IUBH and is shortly starting her first permanent position at an emerging tourism agency in Berlin, specializing in city trips with exciting additional offerings. We extend our congratulations on her graduation and wish her the best of luck in this new role. As a shareholder, she will remain with us and continue to provide us with valuable advice and support.
Our managing director, Volker Findeisen, has announced his resignation from the shareholders’ meeting for personal reasons, effective November 15, 2018. He has accepted an offer from a significant international corporate group and will shortly take on responsibility for one of its German subsidiaries. He will remain connected to our company both as a shareholder and in an advisory capacity. As a result, our consulting services will be suspended until further notice. We thank our loyal friends and hope that you will continue to follow the development of our small family business with interest.
We are pleased to announce that, effective November 15, 2018, our founding shareholder Christa Findeisen has been appointed as the new managing director. Christa has already been responsible for all matters related to our investments and the management of the company. We wish her the best of luck and joy in her new role.
The international market situation remains highly volatile and does not yet show a clear trend. Taking profits on well-performing individual stocks should be a matter of course. Diversification across multiple asset classes is essential for long-term success. Following a recently incredibly impressive trip to Asia, we are once again focusing our investments in that direction.
