After a few months of silence and our website being temporarily unavailable, we’ve decided—prompted by recent events and many requests—to relaunch our online presence. Following these eventful years, we’re picking up right where we left off in late 2018. My wife remains at the helm as managing director, and our daughter—who has traded Berlin for Lower Saxony (understandably!)—has joined a municipal administration after completing an accelerated master’s degree with distinction in Leeuwarden. She will continue to support us with website management, content creation, and especially the English version.
Our investment strategy, with its broad diversification, continues to prove successful. Even in the second half of life, investing a significant portion of assets in the stock market makes sense. ETF savings plans remain our favorite—this year, Europe may well become the destination of choice for many U.S. investors, potentially developing very favorably. We’ll see. And as always: political markets have short legs!
